Pencil ഏറ്റവും മുകളിലായി പെന്‍സില്‍ ടൂള്‍ കാണാം. മൂന്ന് തരത്തിലുള്ള പെന്‍സില്‍ ടൂളുകള്‍ ഇവിടെ കാണാം. Dynamic Pencil, Dot Pencil എന്നിവയാണ് മറ്റ് പെന്‍സില്‍ ടൂളുകള്‍. പെന്‍സില്‍ ടൂള്‍ ക്ലിക്ക് ചെയ്ത ശേഷം കാന്‍ വാസിന്റെ വലതു വശത്തു കാണുന്ന Brush Selection പാനലില്‍ നിന്നും ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള ബ്രഷ് സെലക്ട് ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്. അതോടൊപ്പം വിവിധ തരത്തിലുള്ള കളര്‍ സെലക്ട് ചെയ്യാനുള്ള കളര്‍ സെലക്ഷന്‍ പാനലും വലതു വശത്ത് ലഭ്യമാണ്.
This button allows you to use the left mouse button on your
canvas to erase whatever happens to be there. Note that it is
quite an inexact science; you will be erasing in the
shape of circles, much like the paint roller effect in reverse.
For more effective tools, look at the next two examples.
With the outline button, you may pick any region within the canvas
to be moved. Click and hold down on the left mouse button to
choose one corner, and once the rectangle is the correct size,
release the mouse button. You will now have an outline on the
canvas that you may move to any place on the canvas (or even off
the canvas, as this works much faster as an erasing technique).
This will make connected lines in the color or pattern chosen
from the first set of choices under the canvas. The thickness
of the line is controlled by the Line
button on top of the main control window.
This pencil will draw dots on the canvas, instead of a connected
line. If you go slow enough with the left mouse button, of course,
you may even get the dots to connect. The line thickness here has
no bearing on what you will see. The color can be changed.
As you might infer, this tool sprays the color or pattern chosen
on the canvas, in a circular pattern. That is, if you hold it still
and use the left mouse button to spray, then you will see a circle
of the color/pattern chosen.
Here is quite a powerful tool. This will fill the area the mouse
is in with the color/pattern highlighted on the lower left of the
canvas. If the canvas is empty, then it will change the entire
background. If not, it will change the entire area it resides
in, until it reaches a color that is different than the beginning one.
This button will be used to write within the canvas. You may
change the Font as well as
the color of the text you wish to write. Be warned: Once you
are writing text, you may backspace to erase it, but if you
stop, then you will have to use one of the other erasing techniques
listed above to get rid of mistakes.
Left click on the canvas where you want the line to start, and then
hold the button down as you move to where you wish the end of the
line to be. You may change the color/pattern of the line by choosing
a color/pattern from the first set of choices, and you may also change
the thickness of the line using the Line
option in the main control window.
The left mouse button will clicked once will mark the center of
the ``spray'', and every left click after that will mark a line
coming from the center. To stop this process, click the middle
mouse button. Remember you may change the color/pattern
and the thickness of the line using the Line
option in the main control window.
This will create a curved line within the graph, where once again
you have the option of changing the color/pattern of the curve,
and the thickness. You must hold down the left mouse button
to create the curve.
This will create the outline of a rectangular shape within the
canvas. Color, pattern, and thickness may be altered as they
have been above.
This is used the same as the rectangle tool above, except now you
may choose an interior color for the rectangle from the second
set of colors/patterns below the canvas.
You may also create circular regions within the canvas by clicking
on the left mouse button and holding while you extend the oval to
encircle the area you wish. Color/Pattern and thickness may
be altered as they have been above.
This is the same as the above tool with the exception that the
oval will be filled with the color/pattern you choose from
the second set of choices under the canvas.
Use the left mouse button to start the line, and then move the mouse
to the next point and click on the left mouse button again. Once
you are finished with this, click on the center mouse button to
stop the process, and you will see the line painted the color/pattern
that you have highlighted in the first set of choices below the canvas.
This works the same as the tool above, except your finished product
will be connected. You may make triangles, rectangles, rhomboids,
trapezoids, etc using this tool.
Now the polygons you make (using the above procedure) will be filled
with the color/pattern you have chosen from the second set of choices
below the canvas.
Surprisingly enough, this is the same as the writing tool above.
You will see a pencil on the canvas drawing out what you choose
while you hold down the left mouse button. The only difference
is again the line will become connected.
This will fill the ``bean'' you draw with the left mouse button. Note
that even if your drawing doesn't connect, the end result will connect,
and the color/pattern you have chosen from the second set below the
